Talita Cumi - Juan de Dios

After over three weeks of working at Talita Cumi, I’m starting to find my place there and get to know the children that live there. Don’t let them fool you, just like the kids you know, they make their fair share of mischief and they each have their own unique baggage they carry, but they give amazing hugs and do some of the goofiest things.
I’ve been enjoying getting to know them so much I thought I really ought to introduce all of them to you so you can have an idea of who I get to work and play with each day. And more importantly, so you can keep them individually in your prayers.
Let me start with this guy.

This is Juan de Dios, which translates to John of God or God’s John. Such a big name to live up to, isn’t it? I feel like God was laughing at the irony when he gave Juan de Dio his personality. If he were a literary character, he would be Dennis the Menace. He’s full of smiles, but keep your eye on him or who knows what he’ll get into. He loves performing and can’t wait for the Christmas program this year.

Please keep Juan de Dios in your prayers this week.
